The cursed obsidian whip is probably more suited for endgame dungeons where there are fewer phantoms left to compete with.

Cool gimmick in that you see the phantoms of Phantom Abyss Game other players as they go through the same traps that you are, however I have played a few temples that are either new or randomly generated and there are just...no other phantoms?

Be warned, you only get one attempt at each temple and failure means you will never see that temple again.
